Fire company ladder truck

Ladder 5

Ladder 5 is a 2004 Seagrave Meanstick.

It has a 75 foot ladder with a 4 inch nozzle at the top.

It has a 1500 GPM pump and a 400 gallon water tank. It carries hose and fire scene tools.

It runs with a crew of 6 including the officer and driver.

 

2010 Pierce Fire Engine

Engine 5

Engine 5 is a 2010 Pierce. It was placed into service in November of 2010.

It has a 1000-gallon water tank. The engine responds to fires along with the ladder and it also responds to (MVA’s) Motor Vehicle Accidents.

It can run with a crew of 8, including the officer and driver, but usually responds with 4 or 5 crew members.

 

 

1990 International Tanker Fire Truck

Tanker 5

Tanker 5 is a 1990 International with a 1000 GPM Hale pump.

The tank holds 1650 gallons of water and its primary job is to get water from a near by water source. It carries hose, portable water pumps, and fire scene tools.

It runs with a crew of 8 including the officer and driver, but typically runs with 4 to 5 crew member

 
 
 
Brush truck

Brush 5

Brush 5 is a 1986 Chevy 1 ton pickup. It was originally used as a military vehicle.

In late 2005, the fire department received the truck from the forestry department and was put in service in 2006.

The brush truck as a 200 gallon water tank for fighting brush fires and it also carries tools and hoses. It runs with a crew of 3.
